Child and Adolescent Health is a growing research theme at the School of Public Health and Community Medicine and spans a broad range of research areas aiming to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people. We are leading research that is focused on the growing burden of non-communicable diseases among children and young people particularly around nutrition, alcohol and other drugs, mental health, injury, violence and self-harm, as well as infectious diseases, sexual and reproductive health.
