The Kirby Institute is pleased to announce that we are welcoming 14 new Scientia PhD scholars in 2018. These students will be supervised by Kirby Institute academics who are leaders in their fields and will contributes to research projects across a broad spectrum of Kirby Institute infectious disease research. 

The UNSW Scientia Scholarship scheme seeks to harness the university’s cutting-edge research to solve complex problems and improve the lives of people in local and global communities. Candidates are placed in an enhanced culture of research excellence, leadership and community, and are provided with career coaching, mentoring and access to a suite of professional development activities.
